Martina Aldrich
Martina has a comprehensive background in personal
training and group exercise instructon. Her 17 years
of experience have touched the Newport community with

Brett Azar
Brett Azar is a recent graduate from the University
of Rhode Island with a degree in Exercise Science.
He has been a certified personal trainer as well as
a natural competitive bodybuilder since the age of
18. His expertise ranges from general fitness to weight
loss, sport specific training, bodybuilding, and Advanced
Team Periodization. Brett’s dedication to exercise,
his involvement with athletics from a young age, and
commitment to bodybuilding gives him invaluable insights
as a Personal Trainer. His experiences give him the
internal motivation and commitment required to help
you reach your personal fitness goals. He enjoys working
with men and women of all ages and fitness levels,

Lisa Cecchi
Lisa Cecchi has degrees in Physical Education, Mathematics,
and a Masters Degree in Business. Lisa attended school
at the USMA at West Point, The University of Louisville,
and Webster University. Lisa was a collegiate swimmer
and competed in NCAA championship events. She has
competed in several triathlons, biathlons, and various
distance road races including six marathons. She placed
3rd overall woman in the 2005 Quebec City Marathon.
Lisa is an AFAA certified personal trainer who concentrates
on functional training, sports specific training,
and post-rehab training. She has six children. She
states, “My life is my family and my husband,
Michael, is my inspiration.”

Kevin Davis
Kevin is certified Personal Trainer specializing
in Functional Training techniques - effectively addressing

Thomas Newman
Thomas Newman is certified through the National Strength
and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength
and Conditioning Specialist. Additionally, he is certified
through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as
a Certified Personal Trainer. He recently moved to
Newport from Boston, where he was a full time personal
trainer at the famous Sports Club LA, in pursuit of
becoming a collegiate Strength and Conditioning coach.
His specialties include sport specific training, rehabilitation
and bodybuilding. He participates both as a performance
consultant for various universities and the Junior
Olympic Volleyball powerhouse Beantown Volleyball
Club. He routinely lectures throughout New England,
focusing on weight training education to high school
and college athletes. His training philosophy is,
“Training is much more than changing muscle,
it’s about changing the person as a whole."
